Terms of Service

1. Introduction #

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LabelMaker web application ("Service") operated by Matěj Pavlíček, a sole proprietor (OSVČ) registered in the Czech Republic ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description #

LabelMaker is a web application that allows businesses to create and print product labels from spreadsheet data. The Service provides tools for uploading spreadsheets (XLSX, CSV, and ODS files), importing data from Google Sheets, customizing label layouts, and generating printable PDF files.

3. User Accounts #

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Guest Usage #

You may use the Service without creating an account. Guest users can upload spreadsheets and generate PDF labels, subject to the limitations described in Access Tiers below. Guest uploads are not associated with any account and cannot be retrieved after your browser session ends.

Google Sign-In #

You may create an account or sign in using Google OAuth. By doing so, you authorize us to receive your email address and Google user ID from Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. Our use of data received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

4. Access Tiers #

The Service offers three access tiers with different feature limits:

• Guest — no account required. Upload spreadsheets up to 10 MB, generate PDFs with up to 100 labels per PDF. No presets or file history.
• Registered (free) — requires a free account. Upload spreadsheets up to 10 MB, generate PDFs with up to 100 labels per PDF. Unlimited presets and file history.
• Subscribed (Unlimited) — requires a paid subscription. No file size or label limits. Unlimited presets and file history.

We reserve the right to change tier limits at any time. Specific limits (file size, page count) are configurable and the values above reflect current defaults.

5. Google Drive Integration #

Registered users may optionally connect their Google Drive to import data from Google Sheets. By connecting, you grant us read-only access to your Google Drive file listings and Google Sheets content. We do not modify, create, or delete any files in your Google account.

You may disconnect Google Drive at any time from your account page, which immediately revokes our access and deletes all stored tokens. You are responsible for any content you import from Google Sheets into the Service.

Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's Terms of Service.

6. Subscriptions and Payments #

The Service offers paid subscription plans. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, invoicing, sales tax, and payment processing on our behalf.

By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

7. Refund Policy #

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of your initial subscription purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Service, contact us within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund.

Refunds for renewal payments are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at labelmaker@matejpavlicek.cz for refund requests.

Refunds are processed by Paddle and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

8. User Obligations #

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload files containing malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent

9. Intellectual Property #

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Matěj Pavlíček. You retain full ownership of any data and files you upload to the Service. We do not claim any rights over your content.

You grant us a limited license to process your uploaded files solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

10. Limitation of Liability #

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
• We do not guarantee any specific level of availability, uptime, or performance. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control

11. Termination #

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period following account closure.

To request account deletion, email labelmaker@matejpavlicek.cz. Upon deletion, all your data (uploads, presets, Google Drive tokens, subscription metadata) will be permanently removed, subject to any legal retention obligations.

While your account is active, uploaded spreadsheet content is encrypted at rest.

12. Changes to These Terms #

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law #

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic.
